Wilson Reading Intervention 1:1 - 8 Week Individualized Program

Service Description

Wilson Reading — 8-Week Structured Literacy Program One-on-one Wilson Reading instruction tailored to your learner, with progress monitoring, parent partnership, and explicit, systematic, multisensory instruction. This individualized 8-week program is designed for students who struggle with reading and spelling, including students with dyslexia and other language-based reading difficulties. Instruction is based on the Wilson Reading System®, a Structured Literacy approach grounded in Orton-Gillingham principles and the science of reading. Program Includes: • 16 individual 60-minute Wilson Reading sessions (2× per week for 8 weeks) • 1× 60-minute Student Onboarding & Initial Assessment • 3× 30-minute Parent Progress & Partnership Sessions Wilson instruction is explicit, systematic, sequential, cumulative, diagnostic, and multisensory. Lessons are tailored to your student's current skills and may address phonemic awareness, decoding, encoding/spelling, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. Parent Progress & Partnership Sessions: • Connect & Plan — Review assessment results, goals, and ways to support reading at home. • Progress & Adjust — Review progress, discuss developing skills, and update home-support strategies. • Celebrate & Plan Ahead — Review growth, discuss remaining needs, and provide recommendations for continued support. Ongoing progress monitoring and individualized instructional planning help guide instruction throughout the program. Enrollment reserves a consistent instructional time for the full 8-week cycle. The onboarding assessment and parent sessions are included and scheduled separately from the 16 instructional sessions. *Please Note: All session times are listed in Eastern Time.*
